Siemens Digital Industrial Software recently announced that leading semiconductor supplier SK Hynix has deployed Siemens Polarion ™  The ALM application lifecycle management solution has successfully passed the first ASPICE automotive semiconductor Software quality certification in South Korea.

ASPICE (Automotive Software Process Improvement Capability dEtermination) is an international standard for evaluating the quality of automotive software development, which has been widely adopted by automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). SK Hynix successfully passed ASPICE Level II certification in March this year, and will continue to pursue Level III to higher level certification. SK Hynix adopts the Siemens Polarion ALM solution to manage its software development life cycle and help it improve the quality of semiconductor product development. Polarion ALM is an important component of Siemens Xcelerator's industrial software portfolio, providing a more systematic approach to product design, workflow, and process management, helping product line engineering and semiconductor research and development effectively improve efficiency and productivity.
